Ionna Vautrin is a French industrial and product designer born in 1979. She studied Industrial Design at Nantes Atlantique School of Design and the Rhode Island School of Design. After graduation, she worked as a designer for Camper in Spain before returning to France to join the design team at George J. Sowden and 2010 established her own design studio in Paris, where she creates products for a range of international clients. Vautrin’s designs are characterised by their playful, colourful and functional approach. She draws inspiration from everyday objects, nature and popular culture. Her work includes furniture, lighting, home accessories, and consumer products. Some of her most notable projects include the Binic lamp for Foscarini, the Clover stool for Moustache, and the Pukka tea infuser for Hario.
